Continuing the theme of signed vintage photos, the auction includes a late 1940s photograph of Cleveland Browns legend Otto Graham, reminiscent of his 1950 Bowman Football rookie card, complete with his signature. Another noteworthy piece is an autographed 1949 photo of Jackie Robinson capturing him receiving the Silver Bat for winning the National League batting title, a year in which he also clinched the MVP title. This particular Type I photo, personalized to “Jeff,” holds significant historical value.
An additional photo of Jackie Robinson from 1957 depicts him clearing out his locker at Ebbets Field upon retiring from baseball.
