Burglary at Pick 6 Sports Cards

Early Tuesday morning, the quiet streets of Coeur d’Alene were disrupted by a daring burglary at Pick 6 Sports Cards, located at 610 Hubbard St. #107. The culprits, possibly operating on a mission to collect more than just sporting memorabilia, executed a well-thought-out plan.

Through the cover of darkness, a dark-colored, late-model Ram pickup truck boldly rammed its way into the front entrance of the store, creating a path for the perpetrators to stealthily enter the premises. With precision and swiftness, the thieves seized a considerable amount of valuable sports trading cards, leaving behind a trail of chaos.

As the authorities piece together the evidence, it was revealed that the brazen individuals made a hasty escape. Witnesses reported the suspects fleeing north on Lincoln Way/U.S. 95 before veering onto westbound Interstate 90. The getaway vehicle, a damaged pickup truck, bore the scars of its criminal deed on the tailgate and rear taillight, showcasing the reckless nature of the criminals.

Adding another layer of audacity to their crime, the stolen vehicle was also using a license plate that was reported as stolen, amplifying the sophistication and premeditation of the burglary. The Coeur d’Alene Police Department is actively pursuing all leads and encourages anyone with pertinent information to come forward and assist in the investigation by contacting them at 208-769-2320.

The heist at Pick 6 Sports Cards not only serves as a wake-up call to local businesses but also highlights the lengths to which criminals will go to achieve their illicit goals. As the authorities delve deeper into the case, the community remains on edge, hoping for a swift resolution and the recovery of the stolen sports trading cards.

In a town where the serene landscape is now marred by the shadows of criminal activity, the residents of Coeur d’Alene stand resilient, rallying behind the efforts of law enforcement to bring the perpetrators to justice. The tale of the Pick 6 Sports Cards burglary will undoubtedly linger in the minds of many, a stark reminder of the fragility of security and the importance of vigilance in the face of unforeseen threats.
