Leaf Trading Cards is stirring up excitement among baseball card collectors with the announcement of two highly-anticipated releases. The upcoming sets, Leaf Metal and Leaf Press Pass Premium, promise a plethora of prospect autographs alongside exclusive inserts and a lineup of top MLB hopefuls.
Leaf Metal, scheduled to debut on October 25, offers collectors the chance to snag Hobby and Jumbo Boxes filled with sought-after cards. The Hobby Box features seven cards, including four autographs, two base or parallel cards, and an exclusive "mojo auto." On the other hand, the Jumbo Box boasts 14 cards, with eight autographs, four base or parallel cards, a unique "pulsar auto" exclusive to the Jumbo Box, and a "slabbed auto proof." All autographs and base parallel cards in Leaf Metal are limited to just 35 or fewer copies.
One of the standout cards in Leaf Metal is a triple autograph card with the top three picks of the 2024 MLB Draft: Travis Bazzana, Charlie Condon, and Chase Burns. The set also features autographs from promising draftees like Nick Kurtz, Hagen Smith, and Konnor Griffin, as well as Baseball America's top-ranked prospect, Roman Anthony. Notable prospects like Chase Dollander, Dylan Crews, and Coby Mayo, along with potential future stars like Ethan Holliday, add depth to the collection. Rookies and recent grads such as Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and James Wood round out the impressive lineup.
Leaf Press Pass Premium, set to release on November 8, offers collectors premium boxes filled with six base cards and parallels, including five autographs. Each box contains an autograph numbered to 25 or less, adding an aura of exclusivity to the set. With a 100-card base set and a 100-card retro base set, collectors can enjoy eight parallels numbered to 35 or fewer in each set.
Collectors can look forward to autographs from 2024 draftees like Bazzana, Condon, Kurtz, Smith, and Burns in Leaf Press Pass Premium. Future prospects such as Ethan Holliday, alongside veteran stars like Mookie Betts, Ichiro, and Nolan Ryan, will also grace the collection. Autographs in the base set are limited to 199 or fewer copies, while retro base autographs are capped at 49 or fewer. The release also includes a captivating "Press Box Signatures" insert featuring legendary names like John Smoltz, Jim Rome, and Vin Scully.
Both Leaf Metal and Leaf Press Pass Premium will be available on Leaf's website and at major card retailers, offering collectors a chance to enhance their collections with a diverse range of talent. From promising rookies to legendary veterans, these sets are set to impress with their exclusive autographs and top-notch MLB prospects.
